He was highly sought after       coming out of MIT, and NASA recruited him out of college and he worked       at JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory). I thought that was the coolest       thing ever to be able to work for NASA at a place like that. Then he       said he had a few other things in the works as other places were trying       to get him to come work for them. I couldn't for the life of me figure       out how someone would quit a job working for NASA and the JPL.
