This is       good news since some people report problems with LED lights working on       rigs with this CANBUS system. Good there.              Power wire still showed zero voltage, but there were signs of life. Had       the wife hit the brakes and turn signals and it registered slight bumps       of voltage (0.01-0.03). I've read a couple articles where the CANBUS       only sends power when it is demanded. Still don't know if this is true       on the power/positive lead.              Wished I had thought of it before she had to go shopping, but I should       have turned the lights on the TOAD and see if that gave any draw. When       the warden gets back, I'll give that a try. I'll probably also install       the kit for power at the back of the F-150 and see how that handles it.       I'm pretty sure a 2011 Ford does have the CANBUS system in some manner,       but I don't think it would be as "smart" in 2011 as these newer systems.                     --       I Stand With Israel!              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
