|    The verdict is in on Blue Ox TTOAD setup    |

From: wolverine01@charter.net              Finally got it all together and took it out for a spin today. All I can       say is I'm very happy I went with this route. Everything I used is Blue       Ox stuff. Tow Bar, Base Plates, wiring harness, and Patriot Brake all       Blue Ox materials.              It takes about 10-15 minutes to get the tow bar on the vehicle, hook up       the TOAD, put it in tow mode, and insert the Patriot Brake. It takes my       brother longer just to put his vehicle on his tow dolly. Unhooking it       is effortless, just reverse procedure.              It bought the locking hitch pins and the tow bar folds over and can be       left right on the RV when you get to the site. I also bought the cover       for it to keep the weather off it and perhaps hide it so people don't       consider stealing it. It's locked anyway, but there are fools who will       surely try out there.              When driving, it has an RF in coach controller that monitors the brake       and will tell you if it loses power, when and if the brakes are       actuated, and also allows you to manually activate them if say you were       in icy conditions and saw the TOAD coming alongside you (hope that never       happens).              All things considered, Blue Ox hit a home run with this setup in my       opinion. Cost was $3256, plus a couple extra things and wiring stuff, I       got it all done for under $3500.              --       I Stand With Israel!              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
