|    Lotto Funny    |
|    26 Feb 26 10:56:32    |
From: wolverine01@charter.net              I play the lotto 5 times a week with a friend. I tried explaining why I       think the situation I'm gonna tell is funny to my wife, but I'm not sure       she understood. Here goes.              So I go in to get $20 worth of lotto tickets. I also have a $2 winner       to be taken care of. I tell the girl I have a winner and would also       like $20 worth of tickets. She goes to the lotto terminal and has the       machine generate the tickets, and also checks the winning ticket and       finds it is a $2 winner. She walks back to the register and sees I have       placed a $20 bill on the counter for payment. 9 times out of 10 this       person then asks if I want to put the winnings toward the tickets. I       always say, "What?" and make her repeat it. When she does, I simply say       that what I want is my $20 worth of lotto tickets and for her to give me       $2 change. She looks confused for a minute and eventually does what I       asked her to do. Happens all the time.              Some people might think this is normal, or not understand why I find it       to be a problem if this is the way some people think. I'm not saying       these kind of people are stupid, but they're certainly not the sharpest       knife in the drawer.                     --       Science Doesn’t Support Darwin.
