|    Getting ready....finally    |

From: wolverine01@charter.net              Yesterday I took the wheel skirts off the View, and adjusted a cabinet       that seemed to have gotten itself in a bad spot with expansion and       contraction over the winter into a workable place. Opening it without       paying attention would allow it to scratch up against a wall during       movement. Not sure what is flexing, but I suppose that is all part of       the kinks you gotta work out.              I also went ahead and bought the "Crosswind Assist Delete Programmer" I       mentioned here before after talking to the Mercedes dealer about the       problem and if they would de-program it. They told me they couldn't       because it was a "safety feature" and it couldn't be done. Also, he       said I was not the first person to complain about it, and in fact he had       heard the complaint several times before. It wasn't cheap coming in       around $240 after taxes and shipping, but if you would ever have it       happen to you in windy conditions you'd probably agree it is worth it to       get rid of that damn feature!              Taking it in to the dealer tomorrow for more recall work, some wiring       under the seats that has to be rerouted and new tank warmers again. I       haven't started it up all winter because of the knee work, but it really       feels good getting back into RV mode. Even going in this afternoon to       get that other Bronco so I can have the TOAD for myself. Exciting times!                     --       Science Doesn’t Support Darwin.
