     We're moving to a larger place soon, where we can have pets; ideally, a   
   hand-tamed budgerigar (your basic parakeet) and a puppy.  The bird will be at   
   large in our house a lot of time.  So, what I'd like to ask is, how feasible is   
   it to train the puppy not to attack the little bird when it comes within reach?   
   Is it possible that they could actually make friends? I'm sure we'll have to   
   keep them under supetvision when they're together, of course.
