I saw an interesting "Dogs with Jobs" episode awhile ago where a dog
was used to teach manners to dog-aggressive dogs. The pupil dog was
muzzled for the initial encounters. Ah ha! It hit me that a muzzle
is a great tool for allowing dogs to get familiar without damaging
each other - much better than straining at the end of a lead.

In the DwJ clip the pupil dog quickly settled after it seemed to
realize that the teacher dog wasn't going to hurt it and that it
could not do anything to hurt the teaching dog.
