From: annadoggoo@yahoo.com              A year and a half ago, a black lab showed up at my house and never left. She       had heartworm and we had her treated and she's ours.       Over a week ago, a neighbor showed up with a cocker spaniel in his arms and       said, "Merry Christmas!" He found this dog on the side of the road and asked       if we wanted to take him in until the owner was found. No owner found yet.       This seems to be a common dumping area for wonderful dogs. I'll be taking       him to the vet after xmas for a checkup but he seems to be fine. Very, very       friendly and sweet but he is hyper as hell!! He also eats whatever food gets       dropped in the floor (my lab won't eat much else besides dog food) He and       the lab get along pretty well now, it took a couple of days. I'm having a       hard time getting the cat used to him, she attacks him when she sees him so       she is being separated for now until I figure out what to do.       Do dogs stop humping all the time after they are fixed? My lab was never       fixed, she's a house dog with a fenced backyard but now I will have to get       one of them fixed.       And to show how even luckier I am, both dogs were housetrained upon arrival       :o) And both love the company and laps of people. And they're both       beautiful.       Marie              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
