   We just had our first consultation with a holistic vet this week and one   
   of the issues we discussed was flea preventive.  We've used Frontline   
   for a long time.  Bad stuff, we think.   
      
   She mentioned that there's a pill that kills fleas immediately (in an   
   hour or so).  I don't have a reference but it seems like an interesting   
   tool.  (I was thinking of it for foster dogs coming into our household.)
