   Yah know, a lot of us are beating ourselves black and blue trying to   
   save good dogs in the US......   
      
   At least get them vetted and immunized before you bring 'em across the   
   border.  We don't need More cases of imported rabies in street dogs   
   brought into the country.   
      
   You will find more bleeding hearts on Facebook.  Often people who know   
   nothing about dogs, but are willing to allow themselves to be abused by   
   "rescuers" who overload them with foster dogs.... a problem that exists   
   here already....  Take it slow and do it the right way.... get the   
   healthiest dogs, with the most stable temperaments, in Small numbers and   
   build your program slowly.  Because of mistakes made by others,   
   Massachusetts and Pennsylvania already have restrictive laws addressing   
   imports and transports of strays and shelter dogs from other states and   
   outside the US.
