   To be fair to me, I did say "rest of the west".  Don't think Louisiana counts   
   as the west.   
      
   However, with the Washington and Oregon schools splitting, the pairs that are   
   now aligned in the same conference:   
   Arizona / Arizona State   
   UNC / N.C. State   
   Kansas / Kansas State   
   Michigan / Michigan State   
   Texas / Texas A&M (reluctantly for A&M)   
   Virginia / Virginia Tech   
   Indiana / Purdue
