   Mine went up quite a bit as well in early 2023.   
      
   It helps that it's the "federal 401(k)" and I am mainly invested in the   
   "government funds" portion, which, as you might have expected, does much   
   better when interest rates go up.   
      
   Speaking of which, the rumor of the day is, at least one of those funds   
   includes investments in companies that sell weapons to Russia.
