   Governor Newsom has already promised a black woman will replace her. Barbara   
   Lee is probably on the phone as we speak; she's "only" 73 or so.   
      
   The strange thing is, under California law, there will be two Senate elections   
   next year - one to "officially" fill the remaining 2 months of the existing   
   term, and another for the full 6-year term that starts 1/3/2025.
