   So I looked it up and yes, Mario did cost Oregon the 2018 stanford game with   
   the same thing.  They could have just kneeled in victory formation and   
   didn't.  Fumbled, led to OT, and a stanford win.  When asked later about it he   
   actually said "I stand by    
   my decision".  And then said some nonsense about not wanting Herbert to take a   
   knee(why he didn't want herbert to take a knee I have no idea?)   
      
   People are reporting this time he said "should have taken a knee".   
      
   Well duh, but if reporters were worth half a shit they would actually ask   
   questions to determine *why* he didn't.  Not just whether or not he   
   acknowledges it was a bad decision.   
      
   Mario's answer may be as simple as "I just wasn't really thinking about it" or   
   "I was trying to get him 100 yards".   Or whatever.  Horrible answers of   
   course and there is no acceptable answer or one that makes sense, but Im sure   
   people are curious why    
   he does this crap.
