   James Madison can't even get into the Sun Belt championship game, so its   
   chances of getting into any CFP bowl, much less the playoff, are slim - in   
   fact, it has to hope that there aren't 82 other 6-win teams just to be   
   eligible for any bowl at all. (   
   Virginia's Attorney General begged and pleaded the NCAA for a bowl waiver, and   
   got a response back directly from the NCAA president: "Not happening.")   
   Air Force had enough trouble with Wyoming, and got lucky that game with Navy   
   was a game of two halves - the two Air Force played, and the zero Navy's   
   offense showed up for.   
      
   Washington still has to get through the Pac-12 championship game.   
      
   There's also the possibility that one too many smoking guns will be found in   
   the Michigan scouting scandal just after the Big Ten championship game, and   
   Michigan decides to cut its losses with a self-imposed one-year bowl ban.
