From: darkstar7646@gmail.com              Just on the outer skirts of it: Thursday night, (12) Ole Miss won the Egg       Bowl over Mississippi State 17-7. So now they have to wait to see what       happens about moving up at least one spot and conference championships and the       like.              Today:              In progress: Big Ten West Champion (17) Iowa has just scored at Nebraska       early second quarter: 7-0 Iowa. Nebraska needs the win to be bowl-eligible.        Game on CBS.              (13) Oklahoma is beginning that mess in the Big XII, showing they, TCU, and       Big XII have no D. 14-13 Oklahoma and it's still in the first quarter. Vegas       Total: 66.5! Game on FOX.              Make that 21-13 Oklahoma as I finish it up. Two minutes into the second       quarter.              The American Athletic Conference tries to sort out it's situation: (23)       Tulane (the current Group of 5 representative) faces Texas-San Antonio as two       of the three undefeated American Athletic teams for next week's title game.        The winner definitely        advances, the loser awaits the result from the third (SMU, who faces Navy       tomorrow morning). 12:30 Pacific, ABC.              (9) Missouri makes it's final case to stay in the top twelve, traveling to       Arkansas. (1 Pacific, CBS)              Half of the Big XII title game can be settled if (7) Texas takes care of       business at home with Texas Tech (4:30 Pacific, ABC). The other two parts of       that Pac-12 morass play out tomorrow.              (11) Penn State makes it's final case for a New Year's Six inclusion, going to       Michigan State (4:30 Pacific, NBC/Peacock).              It's the final Pac-12 edition of The Civil War: (16) Oregon State at (6)       Oregon. (5:30 Pacific, FOX) Oregon goes to the Pac-12 Championship Game with       a win and faces Washington if they do. A loss can bring Arizona into the mess.              *************              Air Force and Boise State play in a Mountain West Conference eliminator today       (1 PM Pacific, FS1). Depending on what happens tomorrow between UNLV and San       Jose State, you could have a computer morass between the winner, UNLV, and San       Jose State.              Mike              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
