|    Saturday Rivalry Week CFP Watch 11/25/23    |

From: darkstar7646@gmail.com              Well, everything went as pretty much expected:              (17) Iowa, (13) Oklahoma, (23), Tulane, (9) Missouri, (7) Texas, (11) Penn       State, and (6) Oregon all won.              Big Ten:              (2) Ohio State - (3) Michigan (9 AM Pacific, FOX) and no need to go further as       to those ramifications. Winner gets Iowa in the B10CG and an inside track to       the CFP. Loser is probably out, unless the game is very close.              Big XII:              (20) Oklahoma State - BYU (12:30 PM, ABC) If Oklahoma State wins, they get       Texas in the B12CG. If not, it's Oklahoma.              ACC:              (5) Florida State - Florida (4:30 PM, ESPN).       Kentucky - (10) Louisville (9 AM, ABC).              ACC CG is set: (5) Florida State vs. (10) Louisville              Florida State may need two convincing wins with the new QB to make a case for       the CFP. Two convincing wins and some chaos for Louisville???              Pac-12:              (15) Arizona-Arizona State (12:30 PM, ESPN)       (4) Washington-Washington State (1 PM, FOX)              Probably nothing now for Arizona to do, probably the Holiday Bowl for them.              Pac12CG is set: (4) Washington vs. (6) Oregon, in probably a CFP       "Quarterfinal". Winner is almost-certainly in.              SEC:              CG is set and has been a couple weeks now: (1) Georgia vs. (8) Alabama              (1) Georgia - Georgia Tech (4:30 PM, ABC)       (8) Alabama - Auburn (12:30 PM, CBS)              ************************              American Athletic:              (23) Tulane will host the game with their win yesterday and being the only       ranked team this week involved.              SMU - Navy (9:00 AM, ESPN 2) SMU wins, they go to Tulane. If not, the       computers will determine which of SMU and Texas-San Antonio plays Tulane.              Tulane wins that game, they probably get in the New Year's Six.              Conference USA:              New Mexico State goes to (25) Liberty for their championship game. Liberty       must beat them and UTEP this week (and get some help in the American Athletic       title game, the CFP requires that the Go5 rep be one of the champions) to go       to the CFP Slough-Off.              Mid-American:              Miami (OH) faces Toledo in Detroit in the Championship Game next week.              Sun Belt:              Troy will host.              James Madison - Coastal Carolina (12:30 PM, ESPN 2)       Georgia Southern - Appalachian State (12:30 PM, ESPN U)              Coastal Carolina wins, they go to Troy (and would've anyway, with that win).        Appalachian State must win and Coastal lose to get the berth themselves.              Mountain West:              UNLV - San Jose State (12 PM, no national TV)              Kinda sucks for the Mountain West, because this game is all to play for.              If UNLV wins, they host Boise State in the Mountain West championship game.              If San Jose State wins, not only do the computers then decide who hosts the       Mountain West title game, they decide who plays in it, as there is nothing,       tiebreaker-wise, to set apart UNLV, San Jose State, and Boise State in any       respect otherwise!              Mike              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
