The fact that       none of Minnesota's official social media sites have commented about being       bowl eligible yet makes me think that the school thinks that Army needs to       beat Navy. My guess is,        since the Quick Lane bowl is the last Big Ten-contracted bowl to get to       choose, it will hold out until it knows if the 82nd team is Minnesota or Navy.        >               Yeah, I've been searching all over to see if there is any info on this issue,       and your read of the rule book seems to be the most definitive one. Although       several sites have congratulated Minnesota and say Navy won't get picked       because the bowls have        already been picked, it seems as though Navy should indeed be granted that       spot if they win. Which means one of the bowls is probably going to have to       go with Minnesota/Navy as their final option.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
