Both are one loss conference       champs and Texas dominated them in Tuscaloosa.       > Strength of schedule will trump head-to-head. No way the SEC gets shutout.       If FSU loses, they both get in. Of course the SEC        > title game isn't over yet.              I don't see any way they both get it unless Michigan loses. And since it's       already 10-0, it's basically over for Iowa. Strength of schedule? According       to the ESPN FPI page, Texas's SOS is 14th, Alabama's is 5th, and Georgia's is       35th. That's current,        as of after their title games. According to Sagarin, heading into today, Texas       was 2nd in SOS, Alabama was 15th, and Georgia was 56th. Now, both Georgia's       and Alabama's would go up significantly more than Texas's for today's game but       not enough for that.        If SOS is the big thing, Texas needs to go in over Georgia.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
