   Snoop Dogg has his own college football bowl game.   
      
   The Snoop Dogg? Yes. Seriously? Also yes.   
      
   In what will be a first-of-a-kind bowl game, the American rapper will   
   serve as the leading sponsor in Saturday's Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl at 2:30   
   p.m. MT between Colorado State and Miami (OH) at Arizona Stadium in   
   Tuscon, Arizona.   
      
   The Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl is the latest big sports event that the   
   American treasure, rapper and celebrity has been part of, as he served as   
   a correspondent for NBC and Peacock at the 2024 Paris Olympics.   
      
   Saturday's meeting between Colorado State and Miami (OH) is the third all-   
   time meeting between both programs, and the first since 2010 when the   
   Redhawks defeated the Rams 31-10. It is also the first bowl game   
   appearance for Colorado State since 2017. The Rams will not just look for   
   their ninth win on the season — which would be their most since 2014 — but   
   also their first bowl game win since 2013.   
      
   Here's what you need to know about why Snoop Dogg has his own college   
   football bowl game this season:   
      
   Like other college football bowl games, Snoop Dogg signed a partnership   
   agreement with the Arizona Bowl to be the bowl game title and presenting   
   sponsor.   
      
   The rapper announced the multi-year sponsorship deal partnership between   
   the Arizona Bowl and himself on Monday, May 6 on X (formerly Twitter).   
   Snoop Dogg's sponsorship allows his alcoholic beverage with Dr. Dre — Gin   
   & Juice by Dre and Snoop — to be the presenting sponsor of the bowl game.   
      
   Before Snoop Dogg partnered with the Arizona Bowl, the bowl itself was   
   sponsored by Barstool Sports. The Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl, as it is   
   referred to, is the first alcohol product to serve as the presenting   
   sponsor of an NCAA-sanctioned bowl game.   
      
   "College football fans are exhausted by the talk around NIL, conference   
   realignment, coach movement, transfer portal and super conferences. So it   
   is time we get back to the roots of college football, when it was focused   
   on the colleges, the players, the competition, the community, the fan   
   experience and the pageantry," Snoop Dogg said in a video on X (formerly   
   Twitter) on May 6.   
      
   "Being a fan, coach, supporter of all levels of the game. ... It's only   
   fitting that I step up and help this thing right. I'm ready to bring the   
   juice back to college football."   
      
   As noted in a press release by the Arizona Bowl, as part of the   
   partnership agreement, Snoop Dogg will also "promote the new line of   
   premium Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop flavors" at Saturday's game.   
      
   Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop launched in February of this year, with the   
   company's name and first ready-to-drink product paying homage to a Snoop   
   Dogg's hit from the album "Doggystyle" that was produced by Dr. Dre and   
   Death Row Records.   
      
   As noted in a press release by the Arizona Bowl, as part of the   
   partnership agreement, Snoop Dogg will also "promote the new line of

   "We’re thrilled about our groundbreaking partnership with Snoop and Gin &   
   Juice By Dre and Snoop,” Executive director of the Arizona Bowl Kym Adair   
   said in a statement.   
      
   "This year, the Arizona Bowl is bringing sports, libations, and   
   entertainment into a singular bowl game, and we are changing the   
   definition of what a brand partnership is in the NCAA.”
