So you admit that Sinclair = Sheridan, including doing the big jump on
Z'ha'dum? So with the big stuff covered why is it that you can't get
your mind around the little stuff like Sheridan = Valen?

Valen = Warren Keffer = Marcus Cole = Emperor Cartagia = any other
recurring guest star part with a mini-arc. Its not a very important
part to this story, at all. Any schlub, other than Sinclair if he
stayed, could have been setup in seasons 2 and 3 and taken the ride
back... Sinclair only did because he was replaced and they needed a
   resolution to the character.

And yes... I can absolutely agree that Sinclair would have done it
better than Sheridan did.. mostly due to the fact his character and
the pipework had allready been laid in season one, making the story a
bit tighter and more personal. In this type of series the original
setup for the series is spot on.. with each successive dynamic change
taking a little something or a lot away from the narrative. The story
can still be told.. it just isn't as effective.

And Sheridan would have made a much better Valen. :>
