   Well, he wrote 100 plus episodes. On your figures, that makes one and a half   
   million dollars. On mine, 2.8 million. Babylonian paid production expenses,   
   including publicity and other things - and that was from people on staff.   
   He also made money from his own merchandising and from conventions, of   
   course.   
      
   And I've not said he had money to throw away. What I will say is that the   
   financial deal at the end of Season 4 was built so as to pay the actors the   
   SAG minimum and to optimise the cash that went to the production company.
