Me too. In reviews and customer comments on Amazon and such places, it seems
it suffered MASSIVELY from too many high expectations. Knowing the budget
constraints, I never hoped for something as mind blowing as JMS's
masterpiece in its peak, and ultimately I wasn't in the slightest
disappointed. That was the trick to enjoying LT.

I just hope this isn't the last we see of the series. It is encouraging
that, despite varying reviews, it sold VERY WELL. JMS has already promised
not to direct any future project, leaving that side of things to those
better able. So in light of that revelation, and the aforementioned strong
sales, LT could prove to be a mere appetizer for things to come.

The straight to DVD medium does not have to mean low quality in this day and
age. B5 has earned nigh on half a billion dollars in worldwide, cumulative
VHS/DVD sales - we fans are going nowhere.......so this all bolds well for
B5's life after The Lost Tales. Especially considering the main cast members
would sign up in a heartbeat - such is their fondness for the series, the
creator, and the fans. In fact, just yesterday I watched the interviews on
IGN's review page for the LT DVD (IGN the gaming website), where Bruce and
Tracey said they'd be on it in a shot.
