   Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. Email spam is exactly what I meant. My   
   thinking was that usenet groups simply aren't a major source for harvesting   
   emails anymore. My only evidence is when I changed my name and email several   
   years ago, though. I changed my email on the moderated newsgroup *only* for   
   about three weeks before changing anything else. Whether AOL has particularly   
   good spam filters or there really were no harvesters sniffing around right   
   then,   
   I don't know. But I didn't get any spam at all during that time.
