     Ford was simultaneously too egotistical and too moronic to be   
   sock-puppeting in such a manner.   
      
     The Usenet has moved along a long way from 1999.  Gharlane is gone.   
   Cronan is gone.  And thankfully BuFord is gone (at least from here - he   
   still seems to be plaguing various online boards - and *not* using an AL   
   2048 alias).   
      
     Too bad some other people still seem to be mired in the same stale old   
   arguments as back then.  Not to mention any names.  It would be unCivil   
   of me.  ;p
