   Since we know how JMS enjoys ultimatums, I'm pretty sure that had Doyle made   
   one, we'd find Garibaldi killed off in short order.   
   Yeah, the producers can send notes and give direction (as we had with the   
   pilot character in season 2). Of course they were paying.   
   While my experience with show business is solely as a viewer, it seems that   
   once you respond to ultimatums from one actor, you'll pretty much never   
   stop.
