   Actually, given what I recall, she's probably totally wrong about this   
   (the reference to "well, you have our email addresses" was the most   
   (unintentionally) hilarious...emailing Jay or Cheryl never made a hell   
   of a lot of difference, ever, either concerning moderation issues or   
   anything else), though Stephen C. Smith (if that is his real name) is   
   probably making the same mistake that many of us made oh those many   
   years ago (I sure did)....attributing behaviour to malevolence when   
   incompetence is just as often the cause.   
      
   OTOH, TheWitch's still unflagging loyalty to her friends made me   
   feel...well, almost nostalgic for that period of time when we were young   
   and there was hope, and jms hadn't written either Season 5 or Crusade   
   yet.  I do believe I shed a wistful tear.
