   Good news and bad news...

Good news: A few hours after reading your post, I created a new email
account using my dummy email address and sent an email to b5mod-register at
deepthot dot org. Within seconds, I received a welcome email in return.
(Yay!) I replied appropriately and received a second email congratulating me
on successfully to post to the moderated group. (Double yay!) I then created
a new news account that uses the dummy email address so that I could post.
   (Thrice yay!)

Bad news: About 45 mins after the above (8am GMT+1 on 30th Mar) I sent a
reply to the 'Season 5 DVD availability' thread on the moderated group. It
   still hasn't shown up... :(

Further bad news: At 7pm GMT+1 on 1st Apr, I repeated my post to the 'Season
5 DVD availability' thread and nothing...

You guys seem to get mighty upset when someone circumvents your moderation
process (something that I wouldn't be able to do without quite a lot of
investigation -- not that I need to flak were I to manage it anyway), yet
you seem to be making it incredibly difficult to post a message.
