    I just got the Seadon 1 DVD and her face is more human-looking. Am I just

   The alien effects were more extreme on the Minbari and Narn in The   
   Gathering.  In the pilot, they tended to have more angular faces.  For   
   a variety of production reasons, the makeup effects were softened when   
   they went to series.
