Watching it on DVD, it struck me that once the Byron plot was done the rest
of Season 5 was just one long multi-hour "goodbye" episode. Every character
got an hour to say goodbye to the station and the others.

(And Byron struck me as an absolute idiot. You start by committing an act
of terrorism against _multiple_ governments and then expect them to hand you
a habitable planet???? He had a much better chance if he had approached the
ISA diplomatically first. He would have still had the option of mental rape
available if that failed. But no, gotta first remind and prove to everyone
WHY they don't trust you, thereby destroying any chance of negotiating.)
