   Note: I've only seen the "miniseries" (which is really just a 3 hr.   
   movie after you cut the commercials.). I'll get the BG 2004 series when

   No, BG 1978 definitely resides in that area. The new incarnation is   
   much better. That's one of the reasons I can stand to watch the BG   
   2003, and can't stand to watch:   
      
   Battlestar Galactica (1978)   
   Galactica 1980   
   Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (1979 & 1981)   
   or Flash Gordon.
