I'd like to see a stonking good G'Kar / Lyta series of stories -
non-canon and all, just to show that it can be done!

And what does "Non-Canon" mean anyway? Presumably, Mongoose have
paid Warner's a licence fee to use the "B5 universe", so it's on the
straight and narrow. All, in that context, that "Canon" means is that
the guy who sold his soul to make the series isn't being consulted and
(presumably) paid a considerable amount of money for his input.

If, after five years of inactivity (or unsuccessful activity) in the
universe the creator hasn't told a particular story it does seem
rather anal to whine about things being non-canon when someone else
   does.

"Canon" in that context is little more than protectionism and smacks
of fear that someone might actually produce something *good* for a
   change.

I hope Mongoose keep us up to date on developments with the series.
