From: Squibnick@webtv.net              Lorien and the dung hill beetles.              Group: alt.tv.babylon-5 Date: Wed, Nov 2, 2005, 2:45pm From:       Squibnick@webtv.net (The Keggling Gnome)       IF Lorien was the oldest living creature in the galaxy, then he       remembers when the shadows and vorlons were simple beings. the shadows       were supposed to be old. REAL old, So they must have been some of the       first creatures to evolve in the galaxy. was zhadum their original       homeworld? was it loriens? Lorien had them all beat, age wise. Did he       stand on the shadows homeworld untold billions of years ago, watching       the bugs that would evolve into the shadows scuttling instinctively       along, maybe the equivalent of dung hill beetles? No worse than saying       that human life evolved from primordial ooze. Did they find intelligent       cephalopods in an ancient ocean that would one day be the vorlons? So       many questions unanswered. In "thirdspace" it was intimated that many       vorlon "mistakes" still presented a danger to the younger races. What of       old shadow "mistakes" that went awry? Who knows what dangers lay hidden       in the galaxies nether reaches waiting for unwitting younger sentient       races to unleash? Lots and LOTS of fodder for stories. Thank you, JMS!              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
