"The Gathering" should have been watched first. "The Shadow Within"
(Dell novel #7) leads into "The Gathering" and with an 11 month gap,
"The Passing of the Techno-Mages" trilogy of novels.

"The River of Souls" - 2263
Legend of the Rangers ("To Live and Die in Starlight") ~2264~2265
"A Call to Arms" - Dec. 2266 - Jan. 2267 (Some of the dates in Legions
of Fire around this time are wrong, yearwise.)

   > > Which should I watch first Crusade series
   > > or Legend of the Rangers. sereies for the best sense of continuity?

Personally, I'd skip Legend of the Rangers ("To Live and Die in
Starlight" a.k.a. TLaDiS) and spare yourself some pain. The main
benefit of TLaDiS is G'Kar's mention of Lyta, though not by name, at the
end. Some of the characters were good (mainly Dulann, Na'Feel, and
Firell), but the plot was pretty bad. If you watch it, go in with
extremely low expectations. IMHO, Crusade was 1000 times better.

A bit, in the short story "Genius Loci."

   > > Deleen and Sheridans child?

Somewhat, in the "Legions of Fire" trilogy of novels. Good luck in
finding Book III. Book II of the "The Passing of the Techno-Mages"
trilogy of novels is also very hard to find.

   > > Dr. Franklins new Job?

   Nope.

   > > Garabaldi's new life?

A bit, in the Psi Corps trilogy of novels. Garibaldi's also in Legions
of Fire, and the short story "The Nautilus Coil."
