_A_ Sinclair went back into the past. Certain events happened during _his_
   life.
There is no guarantee that _THIS_ time around the time-loop, the _EXACT_ same
sequence of events _had_ to occur in _this_ Sinclair's life. Time is _NOT_
   "fixed"
in the B5 Universe. The com signals from the future in "B squared" showed
   Ivonova
   being killed and B5 being destroyed in an attack while Ivonova was a commander;
that did _NOT_ happen to _this_ Ivonova, who became and old and bitter admiral,
nor _this_ B5, which was retired and scuttled lest she become a navigation
   hazard.
_A_ future Garibaldi died while still in EarthForce in the future of "B
   Squared,"
whereas _this_ Garibaldi left EarthForce, married Lise, and took over Edgers
   Industries.

There was no unique "the" future or "the" past in the B5 Universe ---
MANY different timelines existed. _A_ version of Sinclair went back 1000 years
and became Valen, the previous time around the time-looop. _Another_ Sinclair
_also_ went back to become Valen in "War Withourt End" --- but he was a
   _different_
Sinclair who may well have had very different life experiences. Even if the
   Vorlon
of the previous turn of the time-loop sucked his mind dry and archived
   EVERYTHING,
there is =NO= guarantee events would proceed _exactly_ the same way _THIS_
   time.
Some did --- and some didn't. Time in the B5 Universe is mutable.
