   There are so mutually-contradictory stories about what happened that we   
   will never know what the real answer is. Did O'Hare jump or was he pushed?   
   Did JMS push him or did the network? Was it planned all along or not?   
      
   It's all irrelevant anyway - the show is what's onscreen. I have no doubt   
   that O'Hare would have been fine in the whole series run had he been in it,   
   but there was a switch and it was made to work, and mostly it worked well. *
