   He's not a troll; he's textbook example of a stalker, more's the pity.   
      
   You cannot make him change his mind. The only thing that I can think of   
   that might make him rethink his position is a certain one of the letters   
   of W. S. Gilbert -- but I doubt it would; he probably wouldn't even   
   recognize that it applied to him.   
      
   At the moment, he, and the others like him, have retreated into the   
   paranoid's favorite defense -- everyone who disagrees with them, and   
   every piece of evidence showing that they could be wrong, is Just   
   Another Part of the Great Conspiracy. You can't reason them out of that   
   any more than you can reason Creationists or moon-landing deniers or   
   Shakespeare-deniers out of their respective phantasies; they have dug a   
   hole, climbed into it, and pulled the hole in after them, each one now   
   reigning blissfully as the King or Queen of Pointland.
