   It's a height problem. Because of general improvements in diet and   
   knowledge about vitamins and the importance of a balanced intake,   
   average height has been increasing quite significantly over the last   
   few hundred years.   
      
   Most mediums are not medium mediums these days but tall mediums, and   
   as any fule kno, that's no good. What we need to do to counteract this   
   is an extensive breeding programme among small mediums so that in the   
   process of tallification, we end up with more medium mediums in   
   future.
