XPost: rec.arts.movies.past-films, alt.fan.starwars, rec.arts.sf.movies       XPost: alt.movies              I was prepared long before SW came out, because a local late-night       show host had been showing promotional trailers and hyping it up.       When it actually came out, I was attending an NSF summer high school       math program. So, being with a large group of fellow nerd-types,       we were all looking forward to it and ended up seeing it many times.              What struck me at the time was the opening scene with the huge       battle ship, the creatures in the cantina, the fighter scenes around       the death star, and the thrilling musical score by John Williams.       I remember buying a 45rpm record of the music, and dragging my       family members to the theater when I got home from summer school.       It was without question the greatest movie-going experience of my life.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
