   And there we hit the real problem with the entire trilogy- on trial for   
   WHAT?  For being a politician?  For being Chancellor?  No-  for being   
   someone the Jedi don't like.  Not for performing criminal acts, but merely   
   for identifying himself with a group thousands of years dead.   
      
   It has long been my view that the Jedi were the real villains the whole   
   time.
