       Nope.  I never met either one of you before this thread.   
      
      I expect it is because the ubiquitous nature of the gay slur, it's   
   left me oversensitized to it.   
      
       Or maybe it's because when I read his old people thing, my first   
   thought was to wonder if I smelled like old people.  :)
