   Obviously, the first point is matter of taste, and has room for dispute.   
      
   However, the second point is a matter of well-documented fact. Heinlein   
   wrote _Starship Troopers_ as a juvenile, and submitted it to Scribner's   
   as his annual juvenile under the terms and conditions of his contract   
   with them.   
      
   You might not think that it's an appropriate book for people of the   
   target age. That doesn't change the fact that it was written as one   
   of Heinlein's Scribner's juveniles.
