There is probably somewhere online that tells you about the first few
episodes. The Dorling Kindersly "The Clone Wars Ultimate Guide" book
also has some pages of information and images from what is presumably
the first episode or two (it definitely wasn't in the movie).

The movie was really about introducing Anakin's Padawan Ahsoka and
Dooku's assitant Ventress. The story for the movie was rescuing Jabba's
son and the movie finished with the Huttling returned. This likely
gives a good idea of how the TV series will be done as well - a series
of self-contained stories (one episode or two/three multi-part
episodes) with the underlying Clone Wars timeline and various
relationships continuing along in the background.

I'm unlikely to see all the episodes (if any, depending on which
network gets it and the timeslot), so I'll have to wait for the season
   DVDs anyway.
