   I.e. just as with Anakin, Palpatine, C3PO, R2-D2, Obi-Wan and Yoda in   
   the prequel trilogy. Actually, every other important character in the   
   prequel dies - Qui-Gon, Darth Maul, Count Dooku, Jango Fett and Mace   
   Windu.

   They've already messed up the continuity with the animated TV show by   
   having Ventress survive the fall, if you ask me.
