   Which would be a relevant question if Star Wars was "listed on the   
   registry of historic movies" and as such was limited to be changed by   
   it's owner.   
      
   It's not.   
      
   And if you built your own house, you are free to re-build it as you   
   see fit, even if it's considered historical.
