One       recent one saying it should have been a movie and would have       revitalised the franchise.              The "ratings failure" is having these shows exclusive to the single       Disney+ streaming service. That decision alone means the potential       audience is a tiny fraction of the overall Star Wars fans because       nobody can nor wants to keep paying out to all these different       streaming services just to watch a couple of shows on each one - it's       simply far too expensive and was doomed to failure from the outset. :-\              It also isn't helped by Disney's aversion to releasing movies and shows       on DVD / Blu-Ray / 4K, or only releasing them for a short production       run.                                   > There's no one caring about Star Wars anymore, thus no one to watch       > "the message." Now, they're going over to Marvel in hopes that there's       > someone left to watch "the message." And it will be too late for them       > realize there's no one else there either.       >              There are millions of people who want to watch new Star Wars. The problem is              A. All the "Politically Correct" garbage that Kathleen Kennedy        keeps trying to push out. She needs to be fully kicked out.              B. The ill-fitting garbage being made by idiots who think they        know how to do Star Wars "better" and/or what it "should        have been".              The same is happening with many other franchises, including Star Trek,       Marvel, DC, etc. thanks to a generation of talentless, "Politically       Correct" hacks in Hollyweird who do not have any real idea what they're       doing. The only "franchise fatigue" there is is in the fans being tired       of having to deal with the idiots in charge now destroying the       franchises. :-(              --- SoupGate-DOS v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
