And I am ready for it, honestly. I love Mel Brooks, his goofball
humour, his comedies, and if these next two end up being bad, then who
cares, right? It's not like it's a deep emotional breakup, even if that
would be sad. So I go at this with the attitude that we don't have
anything to lose anyway, and the first movie will always stand on it's
   own.

That being said, I will miss John Candy very much, and I am really
psyched that Rick Moranis actually shows up THIS time. I had such high
hopes that he would at least make a brief appearance in the more recent
Ghostbusters movies, and perhaps be married to Janine, but ... yeah.
Legacy was a neat movie, liked it quite a bit, and I was glad that even
though Rick wasn't there, at least Weaver made it into an after-credits
scene. While I lament that the movie could have given all of them at least
a brief moment together, we are in that same boat with Spaceballs 2 now,
and I hope here they get it right, and that it's just a fun movie with all
of them there, except for John Candy, who I hope will be honored in some
way, even if it's by another actor playing the same role.
