XPost: alt.fan.starwars       From: YourName@YourISP.com              Star Wars novels come in three basic physical formats: hardback, trade       paperback, and mass market paperback. Some books are eventually       released in all three, some are only ever released as hardbacks.              Personally I prefer the mass market paperback because it's cheaper and       smaller (can fit more on the bokshelf). The problem is that the greedy       publishers release the expensive bigger versions first, and it can be a       long wait for the smaller cheaper versions, if they are ever released.              Does anyone know if there is a way to find out which books have which       formats planned?? Some online book stores do list pre-order pages, but       they aren't always created nor reliable.              I don't want to buy the expensive hardback only to find the paperback       gets released six months later ... but I also don't want to wait months       for a paperback that never turns up and then not be able to get the       then-old hardback.              :-(              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
