65154802       From: removeantispam*pkuo@earthlink.net              Mushishi #31              front cover, lead story, fold out color poster, new anime, Chris ought       to be pleased :)              AMG #202              K1, the monster/spirits/gods/robots magnet, and most of them are the       female variety, gee I wonder why?              Blade of Immortal #135              finally! the current story arc (2 years running?) is closed to be       finished, talk about a dragging arc that make no sense and did not       advance the story a bit, pretty much dump this series outside my "to       read" list because of it. a good example when the art can't save the       story.              YKK #132              in the last few chapters, there is a gradual changes of character design       to emphasize the change of time, and the immortal of the droid, while       the young kids are all grown up and move on, both the old man and woman       are drawn to be even older compare to earlier chapters, and probably       forshadow the end of their lives are near, (pretty much giving out their       last words to Alpha.)              while nice, I can never rank YKK close to my top list because it is       pretty much a manga of "nothingness", it has no purpose, and all you can       do is to feel sad for them, and I really don't have that much time to       spare on something that is really, well, nothing. mood and atmosphere       can only go so far to decorate and enchance a story, but can never be       the story itself.              Genshiken #39              ah, the cruel truth, what is a typical male otaku? this one might earn       it a "mature" label in English release.              GSC Burst #12              Bean is being superman again.              Historie #27              the beginning of part 2 is surprising quiet compare to the violent end       of part 1, but then, we finally finish the younger days and move to       adulthood, which means the story will pick up and come full circle back       to the beginning of the story.              Little Jumper #11              I keep having the feeling, that the daughter who travel back in time to       find her mother, will become the mother in the past instead. I don't       know if that make sense even in sci-fi realm, (that mean the person will       create herself in the past.) but at least that is the feeling I have       about the story line.              so far each chapter is pretty much self-contain, so until Takada start       longer story/chapters we won't be anywhere near the end of this series.              Eden #91              what I hope, and what I expected, finally did happen, (yeah, they have       sex.) however, due to the past stories, I won't have too much attachment       to any of the characters in this series, since they can pretty much die       for no reason at all anytime, so far the story line is going on 3       separate tangents concurrently, and to be honest I am only interested in       one of them, so I can't say it is one of the series I like.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
