   OK. But what is it with the 1-yen or 10-yen prices? I mean, there are   
   used-manga offers on amazon.co.jp where the price *is* related to the   
   price of the new book  - say, half or a third. An example:

   But a price of 1 yen is clearly nominal, as low as you can get. What
